We offer SSL Secure Server (encrypted) Hosting as either a stand-alone service or in conjunction with our other hosting plans. SSL Secure Server Hosting is available for a small additional setup and hosting fee. SSL Secure Server Hosting has all the same features as our other Hosting Services PLUS it includes the use of our 128 bit Thawte provided SSLSecure Server Certificate or your own SSL Secure Server Certificate if you are using our Standard Shared Hosting service. If you elect to use our Virtual Privater Server or Managed Private Server Hosting than you must supply your own SSL Secure Server Certificate. It is this Secure Server Certificate that enables you to securely host your web site's shopping cart, online purchase system or secure communications system. It enables your customer's web browser to communicate securely with your website online purchase system and pass sensitive information such as passwords and credit card information safely to you. It is also one of the requirements to process credit cards online in real time through your Merchant Service Provider such as Wells Fargo and your Credit Card Processing Gateway such as AuthorizeNet.
We can also provide your website with real-time online credit card processing capabilties through AuthorizeNet or another credit card processing gateway of your choice and your choice of several shopping carts for your website including Merchantec or eBusiness Secure Store (software licenses may apply).
